I’ve been living for 15 years in London, having initially planned to visit this amazing city for just three weeks. I was born in Argentina and before moving to England, I lived in Andalusia, Spain for eight years. From each of these places, I derive my culinary ideas. From England I like the mix of traditional and modern dishes, the fresh flavours found in Mediterranean foods from Spain and an understanding of proper meat from Argentina. I have also found a great inspiration from my English partner and his mum, who are fanatical about local produce. If you are coming to visit London and want to experience the smells and flavour of a traditional homemade English meal with a twist of Spain and Latin America, we would be delighted to share our table with you. Or, if you live in London and are longing for a proper, traditional English roast, we will gladly prepare one for you and your friends. ¡Buen apetito!
English roast chicken with a Latin twist
A very English table with a Spanish & Latin American twist We love these four dishes and how well they complement each other. This menu is cooked with free-range and organic products. We will start serving Pebre (tomato and onion salsa) as made in the Atacama Desert with homemade baked bread. Follow by a seasonal vegetable soup in winter or Andalusian gazpacho in summer time. The main is a traditional roast chicken and vegetables, served with sausages, staffing, bread sauce, and gravy. For puddings we will finish with an Argentinian sponge cake with vanilla ice cream and either dulce de leche or chocolate sauce. Water with fresh mint and lime on the table.
